What is IBD Healthline?

There are numerous groups to join and connect with other IBD warriors from diagnosis to sharing treatment experiences to diet and alternative therapies. No question is a silly question.

The Members

If you choose, you can be matched to a new member of the group every day based on shared interests. You can direct message each other and really connect with others fighting a similar fight.

The Discover Page

The discover page is full of articles, podcasts, and videos related to IBD. These resources include tips on healthy eating, staying active, and coping with IBD.

The Live Chats

My favorite part of the app is the live chats. Most nights, around 8:30 pm EST, there is a live chat on the app. The live chats are an interactive opportunity to connect with medical professionals and patient leaders. It is like a huge group chat regarding a certain topic. My first live chat was discussing the various “special diets” for IBD, such as SCD, AIP, and IBD-AID. My next chat is on eating healthy with a busy work/school schedule.
