My name is Jamie, and I am an internal medicine resident from the Boston area. I have suffered from gastrointestinal problems for as long as I can remember and was officially diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in college. While it has not all been sunshine and rainbows during my journey of fighting an autoimmune disease, I have found great healing using the Autoimmune Paleo diet.
I strongly believe that diet plays a role in many chronic health conditions, and good nutrition can help prevent, manage, and even cure various diseases. On my blog, I share my journey and passion to empower my readers that they too can take control of their lives, feel well, and improve their health. I hope my experiences will lead me to become a compassionate physician who treats the whole patient, not just the disease. My goal is to empower my patients to take action and live happy, healthy, fulfilling lives regardless of their diagnoses.
I love waterskiing, going for walks, and spending time with my friends and family. During undergrad, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to study abroad in Ecuador for four months and volunteer in Honduras for six weeks. I ran a half marathon in 2013 and played on our med school soccer team.
Feel free to reach out and contact me for any reason! I love hearing from my followers.
